Tour Scotland photograph of the Town Hall and Clock Steeple in Milnathort, Perthshire, Scotland. Milnathort Town Hall was opened in 1855. The poet Walter Chalmers Smith was Free Church minister in Milnathort from 1853 to 1858 and another poet James Logie Robertson, was born here on 18 September, 1846, he was a literary scholar, editor and author, who also wrote under the pen name Hugh Haliburton.

Tour Scotland photograph of the Robert Smythe gravestone, in the old graveyard by Loch Leven, Perthshire, Scotland. The cemetery contains fascinating gravestones; many record the trades of townsfolk. Among the memorials is one to Robert Burns Begg, the local sherrif-clerk and grand nephew of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet.

Tour Scotland photograph of The Bruce Mortuary Chapel in Kirkgate cemetery by Loch Leven, Perthshire, Scotland. The Bruce Mortuary Chapel was reconstructed from the family burial aisle of the 1675 parish church of Kinross. Sir William Bruce of Balcaskie purchased the Kinross estate in 1675.
