Fairhaven Apartment makes everything appealing, clean lines, bright with a traditional twist reflecting the coastal way of life. The apartment is first floor with private entrance and parking. An optional safety gate is fitted at the top of the stairs for the safety of small guests. Two bedrooms, with one en-suite, mean four can be comfortably accommodated, set-up with any combination of twins or superkings. An extra couple of guests is no problem with a quality sprung sofa bed able to sleep another two. A contemporary kitchen is fully fitted for meals in or snacks, but the beautiful oak table in the lounge/diner is the focal point to gather round with a bottle of wine and friends. Quality leather sofas are the place for chat, laughter, coffee, drinks or TV. Beautiful oak floors throughout are a touch of luxury we are sure you'll love.
Sea View has a large, sunny, open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with sea views, dining seating for 4 people, together with Freeview, DVD player, i-Pod speaker system, WIFI and an electric log effect fire. Kitchen includes fridge freezer, electric hob and oven and microwave. Bathroom suite with over bath shower. One king bedroom, with original shutters to the front of the property. There is a TV and DVD player in this bedroom. One twin bedroom to the rear of the property. Bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. An iron and ironing board is provided. A large selection of books, DVD's board games, jigsaws and a Nintendo Wii are also available.

Copperfield is a detached, single storey, two bedroomed whitewashed cottage in the quiet conservation area of this lovely village. Much of the cottage has been renovated recently and is warm, inviting and very comfortable. It has a large well fitted kitchen and large cosy sitting room with a dining area. The cottage has two bedrooms one with twin beds, the other has a king size double. All are new and with memory foam mattresses, sheets are cotton, the pillows are feather. All linen and towels are supplied. The cottage has its own private, two level garden with a brick BBQ and outside furniture. French windows open onto the patio and garden. There is off road parking for one car. It is also possible to park on the quiet, no through-road outside. The village has it's own hotel with bar and restaurant as well as a local grocery shop and newsagent, both are a short (2 minute) stroll away. There are also other restaurants within a 20 min walk and many more within a short drive. There are beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach both by car and on foot. There are also many delightful walks both on coastal paths and through the countryside. Cyclists are also catered for with over 300 miles of dedicated cycle paths. Children with love the beaches and the huge range of activities for them within easy reach of the cottage. For golfers there are over 40 golf courses within The Kingdom of Fife from the world famous courses at St Andrews to the Oldest Ladies Course in the World just one mile away in Lundin Links. Lundin Links also boasts the Lundin Golf Course which is used for qualifying rounds for The Open Golf Championships. Copperfield is close to many historic places and is in the East Neuk of Fife, an area renowned for its quaint fishing villages. We are lucky to be only 10 miles from St Andrews as well as having good road connections to Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and even Glasgow.
Kirkside Cottage sleeps 4 and is a pet friendly cosy single storey cottage finished in a contemporary style to a very high standard featuring all the facilities you would expect from a modern holiday cottage including WiFi. The cottage is in the heart of Upper Largo in the shadow of Upper Largo Church, 20 minutes walk from the beach in Lower Largo and yards from the hospitable Upper Largo Hotel. Many different walks and cycle routes emanate from the village of Upper Largo and the village is situated just off the Fife Coastal Path.
Holly Tree Cottage is a warm and welcoming cottage sleeping 2 to 4 people in an area of Scotland where there is plenty of holiday activities to partake in. The beach is a short walk away through a Woodland Trust property. Golf courses are in abundance and there are many coastal walks with superb views. Historic places and quaint fishing villages are close by. Ideal for touring - St Andrews is 10 miles away and Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling are within an hours drive. The village has a grocery shop for essentials and a hotel with a popular restaurant. More restaurants in nearby villages.

The Nethergate offers accommodation for up to 5 adults. Newly renovated as a purpose built holiday let, the B-listed building, circa 1750, has lots of quirky features, such as deeply inset windows and thick stone walls. Situated less than a minute from a beautiful, quiet sandy beach with stunning views south to Edinburgh, it's ideal for trips into Edinburgh, as a base for a golfing holiday, or simply as a place to relax and unwind. Despite its age, we've worked hard to make the house cosy and warm, with full central heating and modern insulation, so you won't be shivering. The house is set over two levels, and laid out in an L-shape. On the lower level, there is a modern fitted kitchen with modern appliances (including dishwasher and washing machine). There's a large family bathroom, a large, bright and spacious lounge and a separate dining room. Ravenswood is the upper conversion of Ravensdale House, a substantial Victorian Villa, built in the 1870’s. Ravenswood provides extremely spacious holiday accommodation within the upper floor of this Victorian Villa. The upper apartment is accessed via a private stairwell. Ravenswood boasts 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom. There are 2 living areas a breakfasting kitchen and a separate formal dining area. All rooms are elegantly proportioned. Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are provided. WiFi is also available on the premises. Travel cot, high chair and a stair gate are available. At the bottom of the main entrance stairwell there is ample space to store wellies and walking boots and a bike or two. There is a cloakroom area just in the door of the apartment with ample coat hooks and space for all other outdoor footwear. Car parking is available for cars, immediately adjacent to entrance door. The canal lock at Corpach Basin in the Scottish Highlands on Loch Linnhe, east of the narrows leading to Loch Eil, is the western sea entrance of the Caledonian Canal. The Battle of Corpach in about 1470 saw Clan Cameron rout Clan MacLean. In World War I, the United States Navy had a base at Corpach as part of the laying of the North Sea Mine Barrage. Naval mines were shipped into Corpach from the United States, and were then sent to the Inverness base along the Caledonian Canal, which joins Loch Linnhe at Corpach. During World War II, Corpach was the engineering base for HMS St Christopher which was a training base for Royal Navy Coastal Forces. Some of the buildings are still in use. There was a large camp at Annat, now used as a caravan site.

The charming town of Portree, set around its natural harbour on the ruggedly beautiful Isle of Skye, boasts a wide range of shops, hotels and restaurants amongst its winding streets. This quiet, tranquil town offers a large variety of cultural attractions too. The Aros Centre, with its programme of concerts, theatre and cinema is well worth visiting and sports enthusiasts will be well catered for by the wealth of sea kayaking, fishing, rock climbing and a good choice of well marked walks across the island. The spectacular rock formations of Trotternish Ridge stretch for miles along the thirty one kilometres of continuous cliffs, showing widely diverse pinnacles and forms. With the imposing Dunvegan castle, and the Talisker Whisky Distillery Visitor Centre, there's something for everyone to see on this very special island.

Moyle Cottage has a toilet and washbasin/utility room, large eat in kitchen, sitting room and double bedroom on the ground floor. The upper floor has a bathroom with over bath shower and one double and one single bedroom. The eat-in kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer and microwave. Washing-up liquid, tea towels and cleaning cloths are all provided. The lounge is comfortably furnished and as well as central heating has a wood burning stove. There is also wifi, Freesat TV and a DVD player. Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are included in price. A fully enclosed garden area surrounds the house and there is ample off road parking to the side of the property. With stunning views over The Obbe, the cottage is an ideal holiday home for up to five people.
The Anchorage cottage is the perfect all seasons self catering holiday accommodation for seaside loving, mountain walking, wildlife watching, people who love wilderness beaches, gastronomic delights and a touch of the Celtic. The garden has a gate which leads from the right on to the high tide line, from where one can fish or just sit and watch the yachts, naval and fishing boats come and go, including the occasional submarine or cruise liner. Opposite is the lighthouse keeper's cottage Eilean Bàn where author Gavin Maxwell, Ring of Bright Water, lived. All rooms overlook the water which is within about 30 feet from the house at high tide. Kyleakin is perfectly situated on Skye, just a few minutes from the bridge and within easy reach of the varied attractions of all parts of the island. Although very peaceful, there is always something going on in the channel or the fishing harbour and marina just a moment's walk away.
Westhaven semi detached cottage is located near the village of Kyleakin and can sleep five people in three bedrooms. The cottage sleeps five people and has one king-size double bedroom with en-suite bath, one twin with en-suite shower and one single with en-suite shower. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area, utility room and sitting room with open fire. There is also a garden room. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture and BBQ. Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky Movies, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. River 2 mins walk.

Tour Scotland Video Drive To Glenisla Golf Course Perthshire
Tour Scotland video of part of the drive from Meigle to Glenisla Golf Course near Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland. Sadly the 18 hole course, near Alyth, has been sold to housing developers and closed its doors for the last time on October 31, 2016. Glenisla opened in 1995 and was designed by Tony Wardle, a golf course architect who worked alongside the likes of Robert Trent Jones and Jack Nicklaus.
