Tour Scotland Photograph And Video Mercat Cross Doune

Tour Scotland travel photography of the Mercat Cross on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Doune, Scotland. King James VI granted Doune a Royal Charter in 1611, giving the Earl of Moray the right to hold regular markets and annual fairs. A simpler, original cross initially stood further down Main Street near the Kilmadock East Church.
