A super area for climbing, walking, fishing, mountain biking or just exploring this unspoilt corner of Skye. Boat trips to some of the outer isles can be taken from the small jetty in the fishing village of Elgol, just a mile away.

We stayed at Heatherlea in 2009 and have booked to stay there again this year. Please don't advertise our favourite place on Earth to the world - we don't want anyone else to find it! We have never been so sad to leave a place as we were to leave Heatherlea and Elgol. We can't wait for the summer to be there again!
