Tour Scotland Travel Video Sunset Summer Solstice Drive North West Highlands

Tour Scotland travel video of a Summer Solstice road trip drive on ancestry visit to the North Coast 500 West Highlands of Scotland. Though the summer solstice is an instant in time, the term is also colloquially used like midsummer to refer to the day on which it occurs. The summer solstice occurs on the day that has the longest period of daylight. This is a part of Britain with resonant names that seem to connect with a distant past, ancient regions called Assynt, Sutherland, Wester Ross, Caithness. You can drive mile after mile and see very few other vehicles on the road.
