Old photograph of a Pilot Boat in the harbour in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. King David I established the port, granting the Bishops of Aberdeen the right to collect a tithe from visiting vessels. In the 16th Century Merchants traded with Baltic regions like Prussia, Pomerania, and Poland.
