Old photograph of shops, buildings and people on Clyde Street in Helensburgh, Scotland. Founded by Sir James Colquhoun in 1776, the town, including its shoreline, was mapped in a grid pattern. Clyde Street was created to face the water, serving as the interface between the town and the sea.
