Old photograph of a wedding in Leuchars, Fife, Scotland. The area's military connection began in 1911 with a Royal Engineers balloon squadron. The airfield became RAF Leuchars in 1920 and was a major Royal Air Force station throughout the Cold War, primarily for air defense.
