Old photograph of a salmon leaping at the Falls of Kilmorack on the the River Beauly near of Beauly, Scotland. he River Beauly is formed when the Rivers Glass and Farrar meet. The name " Beauly " derives from the French " beau lieu, " or " beautiful place, " given to the area by the French Valliscaulian monks who established the priory there in the early 13th century.
