Old photograph of the Bonnie Prince Charlie monument at Loch Seaforth on the Island of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Prince Charles Edward Stuart with three attendants landed in Loch Seaforth on the 4th of May 1746 and walking all night reached Arnish Loch at noon on the 5th of May. In the evening he was received at Kildun House, Arnish, by the Lady Kildun MacKenzie. Early on the 6th of May he left Kildun in a boat and landed in Eilean Iubhard and remained there until the 10th of May and sailed thence to South Uist and the Isle of Skye.
