Tour Scotland Video Drive B946 Road To The Harbour In Tayport Fife
Tour Scotland travel video of a road trip drive East on the B946 Road to the harbour on ancestry, genealogy, history visit to Tayport, Fife, Scotland. At the cemetery on the left a sign proclaims that you are entering Ferryport-On-Craig, this being the name of the original part of Tayport until the North British Railway redubbed the village as Tayport. Here the limit changes to 40mph and then 30mph before we cross a mini-roundabout at the foot of Scotscraig Crescent before plunging into Tayport proper. The road through Tayport is quite narrow.

Tour Scotland Video Drive Down Perth Road To University Campus Dundee Tayside
Tour Scotland video of a drive down Perth Road to the University Campus on visit to Dundee, Scotland. The University of Dundee is a public research university based in the city and Royal burgh of Dundee on the east coast of the central Lowlands of Scotland. Founded in 1881 the institution was, for most of its early existence, a constituent college of the University of St Andrews alongside United College and St Mary's College located in the town of St Andrews itself. Following significant expansion, the University of Dundee became an independent body in 1967 whilst retaining much of its ancient heritage and governance structure. Since its independence, the university has grown to become an internationally recognised centre for research.

Tour Scotland Video Drive B953 Road In Eastern Perthshire
Tour Scotland video of an afternoon drive on the B953 Road on ancestry visit to Eastern Perthshire, Scotland. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its present number by 1932. The road passes through Abernyte and then heads West across the fields and then through a pass between two hills. The one to the right is Dunsinane, which plays an important role in Shakespeare's Macbeth. As the road descends there are a few sharp corners, after which the road becomes straighter as the terrain becomes flatter. After a mile or so we reach Balbeggie, ending here at a T-junction on the A93, where the road goes to the village of Scone.
