Old photograph of H.M.S. Jubilee on the River Tummel in Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. H.M.S. Jubilee was the 1st Prize entry at the Royal Jubilee celebrations.The first British monarch to mark 50 years on the throne in a significant way was King George III, followed by Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee was celebrated on 20 and 21 June 1887.

Old photograph of men bowling on the Lawn Bowling Green in Callander, Trossachs, Scotland. Scottish bowlers developed the present flat green game, established rules, worked out a uniform code of laws, and were instrumental in saving the game for posterity. The ancient game of bowls has always been dear to the heart of every true Scot, and it has always held a prominent place in the history and literature of Scotland. To the Scots goes the credit also for giving the game an international background, as emigrant Scots enthusiastically carried the game with them to all parts of the world. Today there are more than 200 public bowling greens in the City of Glasgow alone.

Old photograph of men bowling on the Lawn Bowling Green in Pitlochry, Highland Perthshire, Scotland. Bowls or lawn bowls is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a " jack " or " kitty ". It is played on a bowling green which may be flat, for flat-green bowls, or convex or uneven, for crown green bowls. It is normally played outdoors, although there are many indoor venues, and the outdoor surface is either natural grass, artificial turf, or cotula, in New Zealand.
