Old photograph of the ferry rowing boat at Corrie on the Island of Arran, Scotland. The village of Corrie used to be a regular stop for steamers circumnavigating the island, passengers embarking by way of a rowing boat from the " ferry rock ". The ferry rock is located midway between the village's two quays.

Tour Scotland travel video of a Stagecoach double decker passenger bus from Blairgowrie crossing Smeaton's Bridge which spans the River Tay on ancestry visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. John Smeaton, architect of the Eddystone Lighthouse, was commissioned to build a new bridge at Perth. Smeaton's bridge was completed in 1771 and is generally known as Perth Bridge or by locals simply the Old Bridge.

Tour Scotland Video St. Matthew's Church River Tay Perth Perthshire
Tour Scotland video of St. Matthew's Church by the River Tay on ancestry visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The river very high today after torrential over night rain with a danger of flooding. The church was built as the West Church in 1843 and became St Matthew's when it was merged with three other churches; Wilson Church, Middle Church and Bridgend Church in 1965.

Tour Scotland video of Oystercatchers on the grounds of Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland. The oystercatcher is a large, stocky, black and white wading bird. It has a long, orange red bill and reddish pink legs. In flight, it shows a wide white wing stripe, a black tail, and a white rump that extends as a V between the wings.

Tour Scotland Video Parish Church Longforgan Carse Of Gowrie Perthshire
Tour Scotland video of the Parish Church and cemetery on ancestry visit to Longforgan in Carse of Gowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Longforgan is a village about five miles west of Dundee, but in the region of Perthshire. There has been a church on this site for at least 900 years. The tower is dated 1690 and has an eight sided steeple and unusual clock. The main building by John Paterson dates from 1795.
