Gran's Cottage comprises of 3 Double Bedrooms, two of which have an additional single bed and sleeps 8 conformable. It has a fully fitted kitchen with Double oven, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave and even a sink. It has a fully equipped lounge with chairs, carpet, TV, DVD Player and FreeSat.

Perfect getaway in quiet village location in Dumfries and Galloway. 2 Bedroomed detached cottage in rural Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland, an idyllic setting with exceptional views overlooking the village and surrounding hills. Wanlockhead is only 8 miles from the M74 and the A76, Lanark and Dumfries are within easy reach in addition to several smaller towns. Local Pub in village which is the highest pub in Scotland and shop & pub in next village approx 1 mile away. Small park for children. The house is situated on the Southern Upland Way in the Lowther Hills so ideal for walkers and Green Lowther the highest of the Lowther Hills is just behind the cottage. A stream runs through the village which provides a beautiful local walk. Visitors Centre with Lead Mining Museum (both seasonal) and gold panning available, the gold panning championships are actually held there. Leadhills, one mile away has the highest Golf Course in Scotland and a narrow gauge railway. Lowther ski club opened early 2015. An ideal base for visiting Scotland only one hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Open plan living room/kitchen TV/DVD and radio in lounge area. TV/DVD in twin room. The Haven is in an idyllic setting on the shore of Luce Bay in Galloway. It is a delightful and tranquil self-catering seaside cottage, boasting stunning views to the Isle of Man and the Mull of Galloway. Inchlonaig House is a beautifully decorated contemporary holiday cottage located in the picturesque coastal village of Port William. Ideal for families and large groups, the spacious 5 bedroom detached self catering holiday cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, and sleeps eight adults (plus two children) in perfect luxury. The house has 4 large bedrooms, the two king bedded rooms have ensuite facilities and flat screen TVs and the two twin bedded rooms share a large family bathroom. There is an additional childrens bunk room off the master bedroom making the house an ideal choice for families. There is a large cot bed in one of the bedrooms and an additional travel cot can be provided on request. Two high chairs can also be provided.

Outside there is off road parking for four cars, lockable bike storage and a tiered patio garden at the side with furniture and a barbecue. Griffin Lodge is a wonderful holiday base.

Tour Scotland self catering holiday cottage recommendations in Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

Caledonian Cottage has one single bedroom and one twin bedroom. Shared shower room with wc and basin. Secure private parking for up to three vehicles. Tv, Internet connection, tea/coffee making facilities. No kitchen but plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Cycle shop bike wash, repairs and hire on site. 5 mins to 18 hole golf course. Game and course fishing nearby, call beforehand to arrange permits. For cyclists Moffat is on the main route for Landsend to John o Groats, stock up with spares at our bike shop. Central for 7stanes mountain biking, Ae forest 20 mins, Mabie forest 30mins. Innerleithen Glentress Newcasleton Dalbeattie Kiroughtree all about one hour. Drumlanrig 40mins and plenty of forest tracks around Moffat to explore. Don't worry if you have no transport, catch a train to Lockerbie with your bikes and we will arrange to pick you up and return you after your visit.

Rosebery House holiday apartment in Moffat is a superb mid apartment at first floor level. Rosebery House is a large Victorian mansion spacious and very enchanting it enjoys a large bay windowed lounge and kingsize bedroom to the front and then a double and twin bedroom .There is a large dining room beside the kitchen and small cloakroom with washing machine wc, and wash hand basin. There is a further huge bathroom with free standing roll top bath double sized shower two wash hand basins vanity unit and wc.

Lochhouse Tower is a unique example of a Border Pele Tower, strong house, built in 1536 by the Johnstone Clan, it is unusual in respect of the rounded angles and the stepping in of the higher levels. The vaulted basement now hosts a spacious kitchen/dinning area with a tasteful mix of modern luxuries and original historical features, this mix carries on throughout the tower. You will truly feel king of the castle in the great hall, which now serves as the comfortable, spacious lounge and sitting room.
