Gran's Cottage comprises of 3 Double Bedrooms, two of which have an additional single bed and sleeps 8 conformable. It has a fully fitted kitchen with Double oven, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave and even a sink. It has a fully equipped lounge with chairs, carpet, TV, DVD Player and FreeSat.

Perfect getaway in quiet village location in Dumfries and Galloway. 2 Bedroomed detached cottage in rural Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland, an idyllic setting with exceptional views overlooking the village and surrounding hills. Wanlockhead is only 8 miles from the M74 and the A76, Lanark and Dumfries are within easy reach in addition to several smaller towns. Local Pub in village which is the highest pub in Scotland and shop & pub in next village approx 1 mile away. Small park for children. The house is situated on the Southern Upland Way in the Lowther Hills so ideal for walkers and Green Lowther the highest of the Lowther Hills is just behind the cottage. A stream runs through the village which provides a beautiful local walk. Visitors Centre with Lead Mining Museum (both seasonal) and gold panning available, the gold panning championships are actually held there. Leadhills, one mile away has the highest Golf Course in Scotland and a narrow gauge railway. Lowther ski club opened early 2015. An ideal base for visiting Scotland only one hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Open plan living room/kitchen TV/DVD and radio in lounge area. TV/DVD in twin room. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster and washing machine. 2 Bedrooms (one double and one twin) with En Suite to the double room. Communal garden area however to the side of the house is private decking. Bed linen and towels provided.
