Tour Scotland photograph of white tulips in the garden by the Abbey Church in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. The tulip is a Eurasian and North African genus of herbaceous, perennial, bulbous plants in the lily family, with showy flowers. The genus's native range extends west to the Iberian Peninsula, through North Africa to Greece, the Balkans, Turkey, throughout the Levant, Syria, Israel, Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iran, north to Ukraine, southern Siberia and Mongolia, and east to the Northwest of China. The tulip's centre of diversity is in the Pamir, Hindu Kush, and Tien Shan mountains.

Tour Scotland Video Maid Of The Forth South Queensferry


Tour Scotland travel video of the Maid Of The Forth small cruise ship returning to Hawes Pier on visit and trip to South Queensferry, West Lothian, Scotland. The Maid Of The Forth cruises on the Firth of Forth. They operate from South Queensferry in the shadow of the world famous Forth Rail Bridge, Scotland's most famous landmark. The queen referred to is Saint Margaret of Scotland who is believed to have established a ferry at this point for pilgrims on their way north to St Andrews, Fife. She died in 1093 and made her final journey by ferry to Dunfermline Abbey. Her son, David I of Scotland, awarded the ferry rights to the abbey.
