Tour Scotland photograph of Boarhills Church in Fife, Scotland. Standing alone by the road to St Andrews, the church was built in 1866, although there has been a burial ground here considerably longer. The architect was George Rae. Simple stone-built hall church with pointed windows and a porch.

Tour Scotland Photographs Boarhills Church
Tour Scotland photograph of Boarhills Church, Fife, Scotland. Scottish church Church built 1866. Boarhills Church is located South of St Andrews, close to the A917 road. It is oriented east-west and was built south west of the village of Boarhills by the local architect, George Rae between 1866 and 1868. It is in rolling countryside, on agricultural land and the sea is visible to the East. The Reverend Robert Skinner, an Episcopal minister writing in 1870, describes the discovery of stone cists at the church at Boarhills.
