Tour Scotland short 4K Spring travel video clip of a red haired Scotsman wearing a Kilt and Sporran and walking by daffodils and flowers in a garden on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Inveraray Castle, Argyll, Britain, United Kingdom. The present castle was built in the Gothic Revival style. Work on it began in 1743. This castle replaced an earlier 15th century castle. The foundation stone was laid in October 1746. It has been the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, chiefs of Clan Campbell, since the 18th century. The 2012 Christmas episode of Downton Abbey was partly filmed here; the castle portraying the fictional Duneagle Castle.
