Inverness Botanic Gardens located on the west bank of the River Ness is the most northerly botanic garden in the UK, It was initially known as the Inverness Floral Hall and Gardens. Set within the former walled garden of Bught House it including glasshouses featuring plants from tropical rainforests and arid locations around the world. The glasshouses stand in beautiful formal gardens mixed with more relaxed informal areas such as a wildflower meadow and areas with colourful plants and flowers.
