Tour Scotland short 4K Summer travel video, with Scottish bagpipes music, of Loch Etive, Gaelic, Loch Eite, a loch on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Argyll and Bute, Highlands, Britain, United Kingdom. The name Etive is believed to mean " little fierce one " from the Gaelic goddess associated with the loch. Formed by glacial activity, it features a unique, deep morphology and has been a site of human settlement and activity for centuries, including evidence of ancient lake dwellings and vitrified forts. Loch Etive was a filming location for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. It's featured as the setting for Harry, Ron, and Hermione's ill-fated camping trip. The northernmost part of the loch was used for these scenes. Additionally, the loch is where the trio lands after escaping Gringotts on the back of a dragon. The loch also plays a role in local history through its association with figures like Robert the Bruce and its use in popular culture, such as the movie Skyfall
