Cellardyke Church was dedicated in 1881, as a daughter church of Kilrenny Parish, to cater for a growing population. Previous ministers include; James Ray, James Lee and John Matthews. The church is built from red squared sandstone and has a Scottish slate roof. The entrance to the church is an arched doorway in a west porch. The three stage tower is on the north west corner of the church. It is capped by a crowstepped gable and Scottish saddleback slate roof which sits in a corbelled parapet. The Fife Coastal Walking Path, which passes through Cellardyke, it is a Scottish long distance walking footpath that runs from Kincardine to Newburgh. It runs for 117 miles along the coastline and would take around one week to walk completely from end to end.
