Road Trip Drive With Music On Single Track Road On History Visit To Glenfarg Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland travel video, with Scottish music, of a road trip drive on a narrow single track road from Milnathort on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Glenfarg, Perthshire. A village in the parish of Arngask, Perth and Kinross, Glenfarg lies on the River Farg, 8 miles South of Perth. Formerly known as Damhead, its name was changed in the 1890s when the newly completed railway through Glen Farg brought tourists to the area. Now bypassed by the M90 motorway. Historically this village was a stagecoach stopover where horses were rested en-route between Edinburgh and the Highlands. This road is only wide enough for one vehicle. It has special passing places. If you see a vehicle coming towards you, or the driver behind wants to overtake, try to pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite a passing place on your right. Give way to vehicles coming uphill whenever you can. If necessary, reverse until you reach a passing place to let the other vehicle pass. .This kind of road is common in rural areas across the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
