Tour Scotland 4K Spring travel video of a windy afternoon with rolling waves at West Sands Beach on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to the coast of St Andrews, Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. Famous for the opening scenes of the film Chariots of Fire, West Sands extends for almost 2 miles of uninterrupted sand backed with dunes and the world renowned golf course. West Sands is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. The Fife Coastal Walking Path is a Scottish long distance walking footpath that runs from Kincardine to Newburgh. It runs for 117 miles along the coastline of Fife through St Andrews and passes through many seaside towns and villages. The path would take around one week to walk completely from end to end. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. The date for astronomical Spring is 20th March, ending on 21st June, while by the meteorological calendar, Spring starts on 1st March.
