Tour Scotland late Autumn travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish music, from Perth on ancestry visit to the Parish Church and Cemetery in St Madoes, Carse Of Gowrie, Perthshire. There are no visible remains of the medieval parish church of St Madoes. The present church was built in 1798, replacing a building apparently erected in 1610, and was extensively repaired or rebuilt in 1676. There are a number of 18th century gravestones in the burial ground. It is located near Errol, between Dundee and Perth. This parish is supposed to have derived its name from Saint Modoc
