There are no visible remains of the medieval parish church of St Madoes. The present church was built in 1798, replacing a building apparently erected in 1610, and was extensively repaired or rebuilt in 1676. There are a number of 18th century gravestones in the burial ground. It is located near Errol, between Dundee and Perth.
