Old photograph of Woodsde Glen, Beith in North Ayrshire, Scotland. Beith is situated in the Garnock Valley, approximately 20 miles South West of Glasgow. Woodside was owned by the Ralston family for over 400 years. The designed landscape was in place by the mid-18th century and further planting was carried out until at least the early 20th century. Woodside is set in about 40 hectares of mature woodland and landscaped gardens.
