Tour Scotland Travel Video Winter Morning Drive From Scone To Bridge Of Earn Perthshire

Tour Scotland travel video Blog of a Winter morning road trip drive from the village of Scone, through Perth, on ancestry visit to Bridge Of Earn, Perthshire, Scotland. At the start of the video you will see me pulling to the side of the road and stopping to allow a Scottish Ambulance service emergency vehicle room to continue its journey without being impeded. Bridge of Earn, Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid Ăˆireann, is often referred to simply as The Brig. The village of Bridge Of Earn grew up on the south bank of an important crossing of the River Earn, whose sandstone bridge existed from at least the early 14th century, when it is known to have been repaired by order of King Robert I of Scotland. The bridge was a major landmark on the road between Edinburgh, 39 miles to the South, and Perth, 4 miles to the North, for several centuries.
