Old photograph of a cottage and horse and cart on Clermiston Avenue in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, Scotland. The name Clermiston derives from 13th century records referring to the land as Clerbaudiston or Clerembald's toun. It was once part of a rural estate, later divided into North and South Clermiston.
