Old photograph of the Queen Victoria Memorial Hall in Coaltown Of Balgonie, Fife, Scotland. It was built as a gift from C.B. Balfour of Balgonie and Newtondon, MP, for the benefit of the local people and as a memorial to Queen Victoria's reign. The hall, which was also known as " Queens Hall " by its architect, John Hutton, officially opened in 1906 and originally seated 450 people
