Old photograph of cottages by the Bridge Of Brown in Scotland. The Bridge of Brown, which lies at the head of Glen Brown, once carried the Coupar Angus, Perthshire, to Fort George, Highlands, military road over the Burn of Brown. Built in 1754, the bridge has a single span and is constructed of slabbed rubble masonry. Today the bridge is by passed by a modern bridge to the south east. History Blog post of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to travel and visit one day.
