Old photograph of Whitehouse village on the Kintyre peninsula Argyll, Scotland. It is a roadside hamlet located a few miles south of the traditional harbour town of Tarbert. Historically, the local economy would likely have been tied to the surrounding agricultural and coastal activities, near the fishing and sailing opportunities of the Clyde.
