Old Photograph Bridge Of Feugh Banchory Scotland

Old photograph of a cottage by the Bridge Of Feugh, Banchory, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Bridge of Feugh carries a minor road across the Water of Feugh just above its confluence with the River Dee. The bridge is a three arch stone structure with the central arch spanning the main river channel, and the outer arches allowing floodwater to pass when the river is in spate. Between them, the piers are founded on lumps of bedrock in the river channel which are normally out of the water.
