Tour Scotland travel photography of the East pier with the Reaper herring drifter in the background on history visit and trip to Anstruther, East Neuk Of FiFe, Scotland. The East Pier was constructed between 1866 and 1877. Built alongside the earlier West Pier of 1753, it helped transform the harbor into a major home for the North Sea winter herring fleet and one of Scotland's top fishing ports.
