Ralston Cottage in Gatehouse of Fleet sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. The cottage has a double on the ground floor along with a shower room, and on the first floor are a further double, a twin and a single as well as a bathroom. These first floor rooms have slightly reduced head height. There is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is roadside parking, and a rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Ralston Cottage is a great base for enjoying the amenities of Gatehouse of Fleet, and the rest of the lovely surrounding countryside. Situated on the Solway Firth, the small, country town of Gatehouse of Fleet is a peaceful place, decorated in pretty pastel colours. Set in the gorgeous Dumfries and Galloway countryside and within five minutes drive of beautiful sandy beaches, there is also a loch and the opportunity to try river fishing. Founded in around 1760, the town was originally a mill community and today a visitors centre set in the former bobbin mill, Mill on the Fleet, tells the story of Gatehouse's cotton spinning days. The town now boasts several shops, including a baker, butcher, grocer, bank and post office whilst a number of the pubs also serve food and welcome children. The settlement of Anwoth is one mile to the west of Gatehouse of Fleet; this is where Samuel Rutherford was minister from 1627 to 1636.

Weavers Cottage is a terraced cottage on the main high street in the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in the Dumfries and Galloway countryside. With two double bedrooms (one with a dressing room and the other with an en-suite) and a twin room, this cottage can sleep six people. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a spacious garden with a patio area, outdoor furniture, a BBQ and roadside parking. There is good rock climbing at the Clints of Dromore near the old Gatehouse of Fleet railway station.


The Old Brewery Store
is a terraced cottage in the centre of the Dumfriesshire village of Gatehouse of Fleet. This upside-down cottage sleeps four people and has a ground floor double bedroom, a ground floor shower room and a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with double sofa bed and electric fire. Outside there is roadside parking. The cottage is in the centre of the pretty village, making The Old Brewery Store a lovely little romantic retreat.

Overmoor is a terraced cottage in the town of Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one children's twin room, as well as a bathroom and ground floor cloakroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast area and a sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. Outside is an enclosed lawn garden with patio, furniture and BBQ and roadside parking next to cottage. Overmoor is an ideal holiday home for walking, cycling, fishing and sandy beaches.
