Summer Road Trip Drive With Music On History Visit To Graveyard Laganallachie Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K Summer afternoon travel video, with Scottish music, of a cloudy road trip drive East on the old and very narrow Military road on ancestry visit to walk around the graveyard in Laganallachie, Highland Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. The now ruined parish church of Laggan Allochie or Inismogranachan, a prebend of Dunkeld was was dedicated to St Kellach or St Aulachy. The parish was combined with Little Dunkeld in the early 17th century. The old church was still in use in 1843, but was rebuilt in 1851. The 19th century church was used as a mission chapel in 1923 but only remains survive in the churchyard, which is a walled enclosure containing some 18th century gravestones. Although the church itself is now un-named, there is a house adjacent to it bearing the name Lagganallichie. One of the gravestones is dedicated to George Black who died on the 26th December 1764. Located in Strath Braan four miles South West of Dunkeld and and six miles from Amulree. A network of military roads, sometimes called General Wade's Military Roads, was constructed in the Scottish Highlands during the middle part of the 18th century as part of an attempt by the British Government to bring order to a part of the country which had risen up in the Jacobite rebellion of 1715. Summer Road Trip Drive With Music East On A827 On History Visit To Highlands Of Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K Summer travel video, with Scottish music, East on A827 route on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Highlands of Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. From outside Kenmore, the road climbs steeply through trees, still hemmed tightly in by stone walls much of the way. It then drops back to the riverside at Bolfracks, with the road weaving around the valley floor, never very straight, but at least it seems a little wider in places. It is a long six miles from Kenmore to Aberfeldy, hampered by slow traffic and oncoming vehicles straddling the centre line, but at length the popular tourist town of Aberfledy is reached. Tour Scotland short 4K Summer Tuesday wildlife camera travel video clip, of the sight and sounds of a Woodpecker bird on a morning visit and trip to my cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. Great spotted woodpeckers can be seen in woodlands, especially with mature broad leaved trees, although mature conifers will support them. They can also be found in parks and large gardens. They will come to peanut feeders and bird tables. Not found in the far North of Scotland. Only a handful of pairs nest in Ireland, but numbers are increasing. Common in England and Wales. Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Tour Scotland 4K Summer Tuesday wildlife camera travel video clip of the sight and sounds of a Wood Pigeon bird spotted eating Suet on a morning visit and trip to my cottage garden in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Britain, United Kingdom. Suet is easy to digest and provides birds with a nutritious meal at any time of year, it is a high energy food, especially valuable in cold weather. The wood pigeon bird, Columba palumbus, is the largest member of the dove and pigeon family in Great Britain, measuring about 15 inches long on average. Found in large flocks outside of breeding season, the wood pigeon eats a largely vegetable diet, foraged in open fields, gardens, lawns, including fruits, berries and grains.
