Old photograph of the Kate Kennedy Procession in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. Each year both Town and Gown assemble to form a crowd of hundreds on the streets of St. Andrews to celebrate the lives and contributions of some of the great men and women of the town and university. The procession has a long history but its organisation by the Kate Kennedy Club has ensured that it is a great tradition in the life of the town, a special day for town and gown alike.

Old photograph of cottages in Memsie, a small community near Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. In Memsie there is a very large stone cairn, Memsie Cairn, which has been opened, but nothing found inside. Apart from the cairn, Memsie is near Mormond Hill, which was a very large listening post in the Cold War. These days the former listening post is used for Satellite communications. The nearest Kirk to Memsie is in Rathen.

Old photograph of the Funeral of Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman in Meigle, Perthshire, Scotland. Nearby Belmont Castle, constructed from the 15th century, originally as a residence of the Bishops of Dunkeld, was the residence of Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman, born 1836, died 1908, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1905 to 1908. He is buried in the village churchyard. Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman was born on 7 September 1836 at Kelvinside House in Glasgow as Henry Campbell, the second son and youngest of the six children born to Sir James Campbell of Stracathro, born 1790, died 1876, and his wife Janet Bannerman, born 1799, died 1873. Sir James Campbell had started work at a young age in the clothing trade in Glasgow, before going into partnership with his brother in 1817 to found J.& W. Campbell & Company., a warehousing, general wholesale and retail drapery business. Sir James was elected as a member of Glasgow Town Council in 1831 and stood as a Conservative candidate for the Glasgow constituency in the 1837 and 1841 general elections, before being appointed to serve as the Lord Provost of Glasgow from 1840 to 1843. In April 1868, at the age of thirty one, Campbell-Bannerman stood as a Liberal candidate in a by-election for the Stirling Burghs constituency, narrowly losing to fellow Liberal John Ramsay. However, at the general election in November of that year, Campbell-Bannerman defeated Ramsay and was elected to the House of Commons as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Stirling Burghs, a constituency that he would go on to represent for almost forty years.

Tour Scotland video of the Bass Rock from a long distance away on the coast of Elie and Earlsferry, East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. The Bass Rock is situated in the Firth of Forth, two miles east of North Berwick and one mile off the mainland there. It was used as a prison during Covenanters. The Bass Rock is the closest sea bird sanctuary to the mainland and was the first to be studied by ornithologists during the 19th century, when they gave the Gannet the scientific name Sula Bassana, incorporating the name of this rocky stack. This colony is the largest on the east coast of Britain and holds approximately 10% of the world population of North Atlantic Gannets.

Tour Scotland video of Adventure Experience helicopters taking off and landing at Perth Airport in Scone by Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The Airport is a general aviation airport located at New Scone, 3 nautical miles north east of Perth. The airport used by private and business aircraft, and for pilot training. There are no commercial scheduled flights from the airport. The airport opened in 1936 as Scone Aerodrome.
