Tour Scotland Video Diesel Passenger Trains Railway Station Glenrothes With Thornton Fife



Tour Scotland travel video of diesel passenger trains on visit to the Glenrothes with Thornton railway station in Fife, Scotland.. The station serves the communities of Glenrothes and Thornton and is managed by Abellio ScotRail and is on the Fife Circle Line, 31 1⁄4 miles North of Edinburgh Waverley. On Mondays to Saturdays, there are three trains per hour to Edinburgh. Two trains per hour run via Kirkcaldy. In the evenings there is an hourly service via Dunfermline only and on Sundays an hourly service on each route to Edinburgh. There are also limited services to and from Perth, Perthshire, and intermediate stations via Markinch and Ladybank.
