Old Photograph Lower Oakfield Street Kelty Fife Scotland
Old photograph of cottages and children on Lower Oakfield Street in Kelty, Fife, Scotland. Kelty is a former coal mining village in the heart of the old mining heartlands of Fife. It is situated on the boundary between Fife and Perthshire. It is located next to the main Edinburgh to Perth road, the M90 motorway. In the early nineteen thirties Alexanders of Falkirk built a new bus garage at Oakfield Street. At its peak around 1965 they employed some 250 staff and had 50 buses in operation. The garage closed in 1979. Staff were transferred to Cowdenbeath.

Old Photographs Railway Station Glenfinnan Scotland
Old photograph of the railway station in Glenfinnan, Scotland. Glenfinnan station, on the West Highland Line, opened on 1 April 1901. The station has two platforms, one on either side of a crossing loop. There are sidings on the south side of the station. The station was extensively refurbished in summer 2007. Old Photographs Railway Station Georgemas Scotland
Old photograph of the Georgemas Junction railway station by Halkirk, Caithness, Scotland. The station is on the Far North Line, within the historic county of Caithness. Georgemas Junction is the junction of the Thurso branch from the Inverness to Wick line, the most northerly railway junction in the United Kingdom. The station was built by the Sutherland and Caithness Railway and opened on 28 July 1874.
