Old Photograph Railway Viaduct Larbert Scotland

Old photograph of the Railway Viaduct over the River Carron at Larbert located two and half miles from Falkirk, Scotland. Larbert viaduct was opened in 1848 by the Scottish Central Railway. This viaduct carries the Glasgow to Perth, Perthshire, main line of the former Caledonian Railway over the valley of the River Carron between Carmuirs Junction and Larbert at a point where the river forms the boundary between the parishes of Falkirk and Larbert.
