Old photograph of the United Free Church in Anniesland, Glasgow, Scotland. Temple Parish Church united with Anniesland to form Temple Anniesland in 1984 and the original buildings are now demolished. Anniesland is a district in the West End of the Scottish city Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde, and centres on the junction of the Great Western Road and Crow Road; also known as Anniesland Cross. Anniesland is also home to Anniesland Court, Scotland's tallest listed building.

Old photograph of cottages in Drummochie by Lower Largo, East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. David Bisset was born in Largo in August 1816 to David Bisset and Isabella Hogg. David married Elizabeth Ballingall and had 8 children. He passed away on 27 September 1888 in Drummochie.

Old Photograph Beechknowe House Creff Perthshire Scotland

Old photograph of Beechknowe House in Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. Built in 1868 as a private dwelling for a local farming family, Beechknowe was later acquired by the Church of Scotland, renamed St Ninians and used as a teaching and respite centre.

Old Photograph Wilton Lodge Park Hawick Scotland

Old photograph of Wilton Lodge Park in Hawick, Scotland. The earliest known owners of the house and estate which became Hawick Museum and Wilton Lodge Park were the Longuevilles, a French family who probably came to England during the Norman conquest and became lairds of the estate in about 1290. The first laird, Robert, fought alongside William Wallace at the battles of Dunbar and Stirling Bridge in 1297. He was reputed to have become a firm friend of Wallace, who is said to have visited Robert at his home, which was probably a fortified house.
