Tour Scotland Autumn photograph of woodland and river falls in Loch Lomond National Park, Scotland. The new Loch Lomond National Park has ensured protection for what is not only Britain's largest freshwater lake, but one of its most beautiful, celebrated in ballad and song. West of Loch Lomond are the steep Arrochar Alps towering above Loch Long together with scores of much less visited lower hills stretching down to the seaboard. To the east is the Trossachs - a delightful landscape of forests, lochs and hills that has long been known as Scotland in miniature.

Tour Scotland Autumn video of the Scottish Crannog Centre, Loch Tay, Perthshire, Scotland. A crannog is a type of ancient loch dwelling found throughout Scotland and Ireland dating from 5,000 years ago. Many crannogs were built out in the water as defensive homesteads and represented symbols of power and wealth. The Scottish Crannog Centre features a unique reconstruction of an early Iron Age loch dwelling. Ben Lawers in the background, on north shore of Loch Tay is the 10th highest mountain in the British Isles.

Tour Scotland photograph shot today of Taymouth Castle, Kenmore, Perthshire, Scotland. This Scottish castle stands on the site of the much older Balloch Castle, built in 1550, which was demolished to be rebuilt on a much larger scale in the early 19th century by the Campbells of Breadalbane.
