Tour Scotland Photograph Buckie House Corner Anstruther

Tour Scotland photograph of Buckie House corner in Anstruther, East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. This house has been on its corner site in my hometown since 1692. In the 1840s, a local slater and plasterer called Alex Bachelor lived in the house and he covered the front of it with a wealth of shells. Shells are often called " Buckies " in Scotland.
Bachelor charged people four pennies to see him laid out in his shell adorned coffin.
