Photograph River Otter Scotland
Photograph of a river otter eating a flatfish in Scotland. Scottish otters live mainly on a diet of fish including eels, salmon and trout, but also often eat crabs, frogs and occasionally small mammals and birds. They live beside the sea or by fresh waters such as rivers, lochs and marshes, but coastal otters must wash their fur regularly in fresh water to maintain its waterproofing quality.

When I leave this world behind me
To another I will go
If there are no pipes in heaven
I`ll be going down below
If friends in time be severed
Someday we will meet again
I`ll return to leave you never
Be a piper to the end
This has been a day to die for
Now the day has almost gone
Up above a choir of seabirds
Turns to face the setting sun
Now the evening dawn is calling
And all the hills are burning red
And before the night comes falling
Clouds are lined with golden thread
We watched the fires together
Shared our quarters for a while
Walked the dusty roads together
Came so many miles
This has been a day to die on
Now the day is almost done
Here the pipes will lay beside me
Silent will the battle drum
If friends in time be severed
Someday here we will meet again
I return to leave you never
Be a piper to the end.
Tour Scotland Uig Isle Of Lewis Video
Tour Scotland Uig Isle Of Lewis video. Uig is located on the western coast of the island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The name derives from the Norse word Vik meaning 'a bay'. Uig Beach is surrounded by the villages of Crowlista, Timdgarry, Ardroil and Carnish. It is best known as the site where the Lewis Chessmen were found. Before 1831, a local crofter discovered a buried hoard of chess pieces, uncovered following a storm.
