Tour Scotland Photograph Sousaphone Player Perth Perthshire


Tour Scotland photograph of Sousaphone Player from Germany in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The sousaphone is a type of tuba that is widely employed in marching bands. Designed so that it fits around the body of the tubist and is supported by the left shoulder, the sousaphone may be readily played while being carried. The instrument is named after American bandmaster and composer John Philip Sousa, who popularized its use in his band.

Jess Smith was raised in a large family of Scottish travellers. She is married with three children and six grandchildren. As a traditional storyteller, she is in great demand for live performances throughout Scotland. Her autobiographical trilogy began with Jessie's Journey, continued with Tales from the Tent and concludes with Tears for a Tinker.
