Tour Scotland short 4K travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a Kilt and and Sporran and walking by prehistoric Standing Stones circles on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Island of Arran, Britain, United Kingdom. These impressive structures date back to around 2000 BC, making them about 4,000 years old. There are six distinct circles visible on the moor, some made of large granite boulders and others made of tall sandstone slabs. Long before the stones were put here, people built wooden timber circles on the exact same spots around 4,500 years ago. Old excavations found that the circles were later used as final resting places for important prehistoric people. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome. The date for astronomical Spring is 20th March, ending on 21st June
