Scotsman Walking Wearing Kilt By Plague Grave On Spring History Visit To West Fife Scotland

Tour Scotland very short 4K Spring travel video clip of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and Sporran and walking by a Plague Grave on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Devilla Forest, West Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. On September 14, 1645 three siblings Robert, Agnes and Jeanie Bald all succumbed to the scourges of the Black Death. As was customary for victims of the plague the bodies were not allowed to be buried in the confines of the consecrated grounds of the church. To see that his children would have a proper burial, and not be forgotten, their father James built them a grave in Devilla Forest. Located within the woods a few miles north of Culross he constructed a final resting place for his beloved children. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
