Tour Scotland Spring 4K travel video of a road trip drive, with Scottish bagpipes music, from Dunino, North on the B9131 and A917 roads then along Lamond Drive, and A915 road then to the West Port on ancestry, genealogy family history visit and trip to St Andrews, Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. The West Port of St Andrews was built in 1587 as a monumental entrance to the city’s South Street. It was less a defensive structure than it was a symbol of civic pride. Its design is based on that of the Netherbow in Edinburgh, which, in turn, was modelled on Paris’s Porte Saint-Honore. The gate was extensively refurbished in 1843. Spring in the United Kingdom depends on whether you are following the astronomical or metrological calendar. The date for astronomical spring is Sunday 20th March 2022, ending on Tuesday 21st June, while by the meteorological calendar, spring will start on Tuesday 1st March. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. When driving on Scottish roads in Scotland slow down and enjoy the trip
