Piper Playing Bagpipes Music And Busking On History Visit To Princes Street Edinburgh Scotland

Tour Scotland short 4K Spring travel video clip of the sight and sounds of a Scottish Piper playing bagpipes music and busking by Princes Street on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit and trip to Edinburgh, Britain, United Kingdom. Princes Street, Scottish Gaelic: SrĂ id nam Prionnsan, is one of the major thoroughfares in central Edinburgh, Scotland and the main shopping street in the capital. It is the southernmost street of Edinburgh's New Town, stretching around three quarters of a mile from Lothian Road in the west, to Leith Street in the east. The street has few buildings on the south side and looks over Princes Street Gardens. Street performance or busking is the act of performing in public places for gratuities. In many countries the rewards are generally in the form of money but other gratuities such as food, drink or gifts may be given. Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity. People engaging in this practice are called street performers or buskers. Spring season are March, April and May. However, for travelling at this time of year, I will be referring to April and May. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day.
