Winter Road Trip Drive With Music On History Visit To Creich North Fife Scotland

Tour Scotland 4K Winter travel video, with Scottish music, of a sunny and very cold, road trip drive on a single track road on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Creich in North Fife, Britain, United Kingdom. By the meteorological calendar, the first day of Winter is always 1st December in Scotland; ending on 28th of February. Weather forecast today was for temperatures to remain below freezing but will be mostly dry with some snow and ice and widespread hard overnight frosts where skies are clear. The surname Creich was first found in Fife, at Creich, derived from the ancient Celtic word "crug" which means a mound or hill. St. Devenic's Old Church in Creich is now roofless church on a knoll on sloping ground above the road. It probably dates to the late fourteenth century. A south chapel was added on the south side in the sixteenth century, and it was rebuilt in 1621. The churchyard features well lettered nineteenth century headstones. This road is only wide enough for one vehicle. It has special passing places. If you see a vehicle coming towards you, or the driver behind wants to overtake, try to pull into a passing place on your left, or wait opposite a passing place on your right. Give way to vehicles coming uphill whenever you can. If necessary, reverse until you reach a passing place to let the other vehicle pass. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
