Tour Scotland 4K short travel video clip of Staffin Bay on the North East Coast of the Trotternish Peninsula on history visit to Isle of Skye, Inner Hebrides, Britain, United Kingdom. The beach is surrounded by rugged scenery including the Quiraing Peak and amazing sea views. This sandy beach is ideal for families and is nice and sheltered with a sloping approach into the sea. The sand has a scattering of smooth rocks and there’s a boat slipway nearby with boat trips and fishing trips available in Summer. A recent discovery of fossilised dinosaur footprints in a stone slab has really put this beach on the map. The beach is easy to access from the main road and is within walking distance of the crofting community of Staffin. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
