Tour Scotland 4K short travel video clip, with Scottish music, of the River Dee, Scottish Gaelic: Uisge Dhè, on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit to Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire. The river rises in the Cairngorms and flows through southern Aberdeenshire to reach the North Sea at Aberdeen. The area it passes through is known as Deeside, or Royal Deeside. Below Dinnet and beneath the frowning crags of the Forest of Birse, Braid Cairn, the Hill of Cat and Mulnabracks, the Dee is joined by the Burn of Dinnet, said by some to mark the boundary point between the Highlands and Lowlands. Of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to visit one day. Find things to see and do in Scotland where you are always welcome.
